Terms & Conditions

Agreement for Driving Instruction:

 


The agreement for driving instruction is made directly between the instructor and the student.

​

Deposits and Payments:


1. All bookings require a deposit of €50 (1 lot) or €100 (multiple slots), payable within 24 hours after the booking is made.

​

2.If you cancel any lessons before paying for the complete Essential Driver Training (EDT) program, your deposit is non-refundable.

​

Scheduling and Lesson Details:


3. Lesson scheduling, including time, date, duration, and pick-up location, will be mutually determined by the instructor and the student.

​

4. All lessons will be conducted in manual transmission vehicles only.

​

5. The standard lesson duration is one hour, unless otherwise arranged.

​

6. Lessons are tailored to the student’s current driving ability and adjusted as skills improve.

​

Learner’s Permit:


7. Students must hold a valid learner’s permit throughout the course. If a valid permit is not presented, the instructor may cancel or reschedule the lesson, and the student will be charged for the full cost.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:


8. The instructor will make every effort to deliver scheduled lessons on time. If a lesson cannot be provided, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the student.

​

9. Students must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson, or they will be liable for the full lesson cost.

​

10. If a student is deemed unfit for a lesson due to alcohol or drug use, the lesson will be cancelled, and the full cost charged.

​

Instructor Authority and Changes:


11. Instructors, certified by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) as Approved Driving Instructors (ADI), reserve the right to make judgement calls regarding lesson continuation or cancellation.

12.  First Pass Driving Academy reserves the right to modify or withdraw any services or content offered on the website.
